How to Use the 3P Medical Suction Cup?
The first few times we recommend that the patient is standing;
Connect the suction pump to the silicone tube and press the Suction Cup 3P Medical on the chest, until you feel that the device is fixed on the chest wall;
Ready, you can suction with the pump until you reach the desired or bearable pressure;
High pressures should be avoided in the first applications;
When the desired pressure is reached, immediately press the silicone tube using the flow cutter and remove the suction pump, then place the plug on the tube and the pressure will remain until the moment of removal from the device;
To remove the device from the skin, initially remove the plug, release the flow cutter and let the air escape until the device is released;
Attention: Never pull the device directly from the skin, without removing the plug, as this movement may tear or damage the silicone;
To avoid side effects, start using the Suction Cup 3P Medical with sections of a few minutes and low pressure, preferably following the recommended use scheme.
How to Use Pectus Excavatum Depth Measurement Rules?
To accompany the evolution of the treatment with the Suction Cup 3P Medical, the measurement of the depth of the Pectus Excavatum is essential, for this the suction cup accompanies a ruler kit.
To make the measurement, lie on a flat surface in the supine position (belly up) with the spine straight, then support Ruler P in the greatest depth of Pectus Excavatum, place Ruler G so that it is on the same connection line between the nipples leaning against the Ruler P.
The depth reading of the Pectus Excavatum is made at the meeting of the graduation of Régua P with the lower limit of Régua G, as illustrated in the image below:
